I bought this upright Panasonic vacuum cleaner about five years ago for $90 or $95. It has been performing very well since the first day. It has on-board tools: an extender, a crevice tool, and an upholstery brush.
I find that these are all the tools I need for regular cleaning. I use it every other day, so I am pleased that it has lasted so long. It has excellent suction, both when using the vacuum cleaner and when using the tools.
A very nice feature is the automatic height adjustment that seems to work very well. I also use it on a hardwood floor and it picks up everything. It has a very long power cord which I like.
A drawback is that even small things like paperclips or straight pins are enough to cause it to clog. I then have to use a screwdriver to remove the bottom plate to get to the clogged hose. It uses the U-type filtration bags which I buy in packs of 10 to save money.
They can be quite stuffed before the cleaner begins to give off a dusty smell, indicating that it is time to change the bag. It is easy to open the compartment where the bag goes, but a little tricky to replace the cover. A small complaint would be that it is difficult to step on the base of the cleaner to release the latch that holds the handle upright. Other vacuum cleaners I have had worked more easily. All in all, I am quite happy with the Panasonic cleaner and have not felt the need to replace it.
