The Oreck XL
Platinum vacuum cleaner is wonderful for me especially because of how light it is. It only weighs 9-lbs. I have 45 stairs in my condominium and I can move around
quite easily with this vacuum cleaner. I do not have to adjust it for the four types of flooring I have in my home – vinyl, carpet, wood and slate tile. This vacuum cleaner does not come with attachable accessories, but for the price you pay, you receive a handheld canister vacuum with attachments that take care of all kinds of
small details. With the handheld vacuum, I am able to clean stairs, furniture, baseboards, bookshelves, curtains, lamp shades, etc.

It is quiet and self propelled – you do not have to use a lot of effort to push this vacuum cleaner. I think that it would vacuum your home on its own if it could. The handle is designed to fit directly in your hand and there is a handle about midway down the vacuum cleaner that makes it easy to carry from room to room or down stairs. I would not be able to carry or maneuver any other vacuum around my home as easy as my Oreck.

Another added bonus that comes with the purchase of the Oreck XL Platinum is a 10 year warranty and 10 years of free annual tune ups. I have had my vacuum cleaner for over 6 years and have never had to pay for any replacement parts. This vacuum cleaner is so great that I take it to my boyfriend’s house to vacuum because his Kirby vacuum cleaner is so heavy that I can’t even move it.
