It cleans really well and I can clean the rest of my home as it vacuums. It also comes with a remote to guide it to specific spots that may need more attention. It is compact enough to conveniently store away as well. I do, however, wish the Roomba was easier to clean. I have animals and after a while of vacuuming the brush gets stuck with hair and I notice I have to clean it more often than an upright vacuum. Also, the Roomba needs charged after each use, however, it does go for a little over an hour. Overall I am very pleased with the Roomba 400 and I will probably purchase another one so I can simultaneously vacuum the upstairs as well. I love my Roomba.
