Hoover Wind Tunnel Self Propelled Vacuum

I have owned this vacuum for more than 7 years, with regular maintenance it has performed well. Having the vacuum serviced is typically inexpensive and when needed, replacement parts have been reasonably priced. There are several businesses in the area that service Hoover vacuums. Bags for this vacuum have been relatively easy to find at area grocery stores.

The self propelled feature is my favorite thing about this vacuum. It makes the vacuum seem much lighter and easier to push and pull back. This Hoover vacuum is quite maneuverable, but does not always reach particles right next to the walls or in corners.

The attachments are versatile and allow me to use it in a variety of ways. I am able to easily reach ceiling fans and vents, while still being able to clean them effectively. The attachments also enable me to clean my entire car, right down to the nooks and crannies. I especially appreciate the long power cord, it enables me to vacuum my entire 1200 square foot home without changing outlets.

The ability to switch between hard floors and carpet is a feature that allows me to move from room to room without having to stop to grab the broom and dust pan or come back to that room again later. The triple filter bags do not redistribute dust particles back into the air as some vacuums do. The bags are easy to attach, but don’t always fit properly inside the compartment without folding in the bottom of stuff the sides in as you replace the cover.

The vacuum has good suction and covers a wide path, reducing the number of passes it takes to vacuum each room. The bag check indicator has it advantages but is not always accurate. The plastic extension tubes have become brittle over time and the tips tend to crack easily.
