In all, the Hoover Legacy Pet Vac Rewind is a really good vacuum. It is reasonably priced at most retail stores, and performs well for the price. It has really good suction and a brush that adjusts for different carpet depths. It picks
up dirt and pet hair very effectively. The Legacy Pet Vac Rewind is bagless, and unlike some other bagless models the dirt receptacle is actually very easy to
empty without getting dirt all over yourself. You just release a catch at the top of the receptacle, and the bottom panel flips open to release the dirt. Another
great feature that I love is that this vacuum contains a HEPA air filter. While you vacuum, the filter removes dust and allergens from the air going through the
vacuum.

I find that regular vacuuming with the Legacy Pet Vac Rewind helps to control my allergies, and my home also smells better after vacuuming because of all the pet particles that have been removed from my carpet and the air. The vacuum comes with a vacuum hose with 3 different head attachments. The rotating brush attachment is very useful for removing pet hair from furniture.

The Legacy Pet Vac Rewind also has a really cool self-rewinding cord. Instead of coiling the vacuum cord yourself and dealing with messy tangles, you just push the button on the cord reel and it sucks the cord back in (kind of like a tape measure). The only caution with this vacuum is to avoid getting anything tangled in the brush, as this can cause the brush rotator belt to snap very easily. Just make sure that the area to be vacuumed is clear of any string, cords, clothing, or other objects that could obstruct the brush, and it will be fine.
