Cons
- there are 2 filters in the top and bottom of the machine that really need to be cleaned every time you empty it
- emptying should be done outside or in your garage since opening it tends to release a lot of dust
I have been a housewife for many years and I have owned many vacuum cleaners. Then one day I shopping for yet another new vacuum and I ran across this Hoover Fusion with cyclonic action. Desperate to try something new since I had purchased just about every brand of traditional vacuum, I decided to purchase the Fusion.
Once I got it home, I just had to try it out. WHAT A GREAT VACUUM!!! This thing picked up more animal fur than I even realized was in my carpet. The suction was absolutely amazing! So I tried the hose attachment and it was sucking up things from a foot away!
Much to my surprise it even tried to inhale my woodstove poker which weighs at least 4 pounds. It would have gone all the way up the hose if I hadn’t grabbed it. It has plenty of hose and all the accessories including a power upholstery attachment that will zip across your furniture and get all the fur!
I filled the machine to the top with fur and all those little tiny woodchips that accumulate around my woodstove, and even though it was full the suction never weakened. It picked up change, and even bottle caps with ease. It just kept going! I was amazed.
I had never owned a vacuum that could do what this one can, and I still have it after 4 years and it is still going strong. I have ranted about it so much that several family members went out and purchase their own only to call me and rave about how great it is. If this one ever dies I will be out shopping for one thing, a new Hoover Fusion!
The pros of this vacuum are it’s price and it’s performance, you get a great machine for your money. The cons are that there are 2 filters in the top and bottom of the machine that really need to be cleaned every time you empty it. And emptying it should be done outside or in your garage since opening it tends to release a lot of dust.
