I thought I had clean carpets, but was I wrong! The first time I used the vaccum, I was shocked at the amount of dirt that was in the canister. It was very easy to remove the dirt cup and dump the dirt out.
Suction on this vaccum is fantastic. It picked up things that you can see and things that you can’t see. I have a dog that sheds a lot. After the first two days, I didn’t have to use the lint removers to get the hair off of our clothes..
The attachments are great. It even has a brush to remove pet hair from the furniture!!(works great!) The HEPA filter is a life saver for me and my daughter. We both have allergies and have seen a decrease in symptoms.
It has a 12 amp motor that is quiet. It also has a wide path feature…less work pushing and pulling. I love the automatic cord rewind. I hate wrapping cards…Just one step and it coils itself. The cord is 24 ft. Perfect for multi-room cleaning. You don’t have to unplug it every time you go into a different room.
The only thing that I dislike about this vaccum is the fact that the filter is the Dirt Cup is a pain to clean. I have to tap the filter outside every time I dump it. It can get very messy. They have to come up with something different for this filter. The two things that I love are the weight…not heavy at all; and the rewinding of the power cord. The two things I hate is the filter in the dirt cup; and the extension hose…not long enough

My husband and I were looking for a new vacuum, as we had to retire our old one after many years of use. As we browsed the isles of our local department store, one vacuum stood out from the rest. The Hoover deluxe elite rewind vacuum cleaner. Using the vacuum the first time was the real test, we have two cats and as any animal owner can attest to animal hair can be a real pain! The deluxe picked up the cat hair with ease depositing it into its bagless chamber.
A surprisingly useful feature of this vacuum is the ‘rewind’ function. No longer will you have to bend over to wrap the cord around itself after the task of vacuuming with this vacuum! With just the press of a switch, the cord rewinds itself!
One great thing about this vacuum is its amazing power! After six months wear and tear, (I vacuum a lot!), the suction power is as good as the day we took it out of the box! One not so great thing is the sheer weight of the vacuum.
It can be awkward at times when trying to maneuver it around. This is really negligible due to how well the vacuum performs. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone who needs a good vacuum, but is also on a budget. The Hoover Deluxe Elite Rewind Vacuum Cleaner would be ideal for a family or someone with pets.
