My vacuum isn’t terrible. To be honest, I bought it because it was cheap and purple. I got it from Kmart. I knew I shouldn’t have expected much. It has lasted us about 5 years, which is great.
Comes with all the tools you need: a tube and extender, brush, corner/fabric thing. The tools are easy to use too. The tube just pops out of the base and that’s it; it’s working. You can turn the floor “agitator” off if you’re just using tools, and set the strength to tool too.
Those are neat features. The other great thing about it is that it has a light on the front. I had never had a vacuum with that feature before. Makes it easier to clean dark spaces. One thing that I don’t like is that it doesn’t have great suction.
t seems to be good enough most of the time but sometimes it’s not good enough and I get frustrated. Another thing I don’t like is that the little lever on the base (that in every other vacuum is for the release so you can push it) is for the agitator, not the release. To release from the upright position you have to step on the base and hold it, then force the handle/upright part of the vacuum back.
It gets stuck a lot and basically just feels like it’s going to break. I’m sure someday it will. Lastly, this is just a matter of opinion, but I will never ever buy a bagless vacuum again. I think that cleaning that thing out is the most disgusting task ever. It releases all this dust into the air when it opens and most of the dirt just gets stuck.
Then you have to clean it with wet paper towels. I would much rather just take out the neat little sealed bag and toss it than have to touch clumps of floor dirt.
