We assembled it and tried it out the night we brought it home and noticed a difference in our carpets the very first time! When I removed the canister to empty it we were disgusted and fascinated!! We were breathing all that dust? The quality of the air in our home even seemed to improve. The vacuum unit is lightweight and easy to maneuver around our home and cleans right up to the edge of the carpets along the baseboards. All the tools are attached to the unit and easy to use. I use it for dusting as much as for vacuuming. The Power Paw attachment has been great for our couches and drapes and thy always get a pass when I'm doing the floors. We have pets so this is a big plus for our home! Priced at under $100 this vacuum was a great value. The HEPA filter is simple to remove and easy to clean. The only thing I would improve about it would be the quality of components. The Power Paw is difficult to remove and reattach and the covering on the cord split when the vacuum wheel ran over it. Besides that, we have been very happy with our purchase. Overall I would definitely recommend this vacuum to a family looking to ditch their old upright.
