Pros
- Lightweight & affordable.
- Great accessories & options.

Cons
- Poor suction (carpet).
- Short power cord.

I love my Eureka 4-in-1! It is the best thing that has ever happened to my daily cleaning routine! Although it is definitely not a good choice for cleaning carpeted areas, it is the perfect cleaning tool for my 1800 square feet of hardwood floors. It is so much faster than sweeping and so much lighter than a traditional vacuum cleaner. With a toddler and a plumber - my husband - to clean up after, I used to spend over an hour sweeping our wood floors every day just to make sure there were no crumbs to attract insects and no specks of dirt to feel gritty under bare feet.

My old vacuum cleaner wasn’t up to the job for several reasons. It was so heavy that I would be sweating by the time I had finished cleaning all the floor space! Its weight caused the wheels to leave scuff marks on the wax! It did not bend or even fit under coffee tables, sofas, or cupboards! At less than 6 pounds, my Eureka 4-in-1 is light enough that I can vacuum the whole house without feeling like I’ve been to the gym. It is not so heavy that its wheels leave marks on the floor, and its small size and super-flexibility make it great for cleaning under and around furniture.

And at under $20, you simply could not find a better retail bargain for cleaning wood or tile floors. I love that the wheels and vacuum cleaner base are removable (in less than 10 seconds) so that it is also a corded ‘Dust Buster.’ Its convenient crevice cleaning attachment is also very handy. Although it is compact, the fact that it is powered by an electrical cord ensures that it does not run out of power halfway through your cleaning job and it will not have a diminished endurance down the road. There are, however, two small problems I have noticed.

The Eureka 4-in-1 is perfect for cleaning almost any dry mess off of hard surfaces, but it does not do a very good job on carpets or area rugs. It can handle short-pile rugs just fine if you take extra time, but it just is not up to the task of thoroughly cleaning any other rugs. Also, in regards to cleaning large areas, the power cord is much too short. For a living room, dining room, and kitchen with an open floor plan I have to unplug and reconnect the cord 6 times to reach all of the perimeters and corners… and that is not even mentioning the (only) hallway, entrance, laundry room and bathrooms.
