The Dirt Devil Scorpion is a 12 amp bagless upright that has several features. The bagless system uses a HEPA filter. It is equipped with four floor settings, bare floor; low, medium, and high pile. The vacuum is equipped with a hose and three attachments, a long extender, a crevice tool, and a brush tool. The vacuum itself is very light weight. It advertises them easy to push system due to swivel casters.

It features a 25 foot cord and an automatic shutoff feature in case the unit should overheat. This vacuum system certainly lives up to its name of being light weight. it is very easy to pick up a and move around unlike some of its heavier counterparts. The bagless system is relatively simple to use and saves money because there are no vacuum bags to buy.

The vacuum cleaners performance is good. It does a good job at cleaning bare floors and all three piles of carpeting. The cord is long enough to vacuum most rooms. The caster wheels enable for easy rolling on bare floors and low to medium pile carpeting but becomes fairly difficult to maneuver and ‑­
push on high pile carpeting.

The built-in hose is relatively short so that the extender must usually be used. The 25 foot cord may not be long enough for larger rooms and tends to tangle easily. The power foot pedal on the vacuum can be difficult to press down due to the extender accessory mounted immediately above it. Although the vacuum runs well it does seem to be a little loud. Besides if you design flaws the actual function of this vacuum is pretty good and it seems to be reliable.
