It has many attachments to get those hard to reach areas as well as a strong main component. I have had this vacuum cleaner for about 2 and a half years now and I must say, it really has held up well. Having two children, our house gets messy, and fast, so I usually am cleaning up messes daily. There are 4 different pile settings and I really like this feature. If I need to vacuum the carpet I set it on medium pile and if I have a mess to clean in the kitchen, I set it to low pile. Another feature I enjoy is the canister. There are no messy, dusty bags to deal with, just empty the canister and you are ready to go. The additional tools provided are also an excellent feature. The crevice tool is great for getting those hard to reach places(corners or even between the seats in the car). The upholstery tool is another added bonus. It not only does the job, but it does the job well. It's suction is very strong and is great for vacuuming up animal hair. It is also good for couches, chairs or even stairs. The cost of this vacuum was only about $150 and this price definitely fit our budget. Overall this vacuum does what it is intended to do. The cons of this vacuum are that if you decide to put any type of carpet powder down, it will linger in the canister and filters.
