Dirt Devil Jaguar

This vacuum cleaner attracted me because of its vivid red color and the thought of not having to empty bags all of the time… But it seems sometimes to have a difficulty staying together… perhaps because it is not as easy to put together as it looks… and so the container of the dirt falls off, the hose pops out and it is quite frankly a chore to deal with at times… I can sometimes go a couple of rooms without it falling apart and when I do, I celebrate big time.

The suction is okay… It seems to get dust and crumbs but spits out my long hair like cats spit out fur balls and leaves them all over the carpet. This is annoying. I would prefect the vacuum to pick up more things. It seems lighter than some vacuums but is still in my eyes a clunker because of its shape which is larger around the middle than most vacuums and because of its inflexible plastic exterior.

It is rather bulky and seems in comparison to the bagged counter parts, poorly designed. As far as accessories go… what accessories are there? There are none. The price on this was good…which is why I made the purchase… It was a best value deal. In short… It picks up things except when it doesn’t. It has design flaws. It would no longer be my first pick…I have not hated it but nor have I loved it.
