I am very pleased with my Bissell vacuum. I have been through 5 vacuums in the last ten years and have recently purchased the Bissell. I have many animals in my house and they shed – a lot. I have found the Bissell to be very effective in vacuuming up pet hair and the dirt that the animals bring into the house.
My carpet is older and the Bissell does a great job of keeping it looking great. The vacuum is easy to use and clean. It is lightweight so it is easy to move around the house.
I have found that the Bissell vacuum is better and I hope it lasts for a very long time. I rarely use any accessories on my vacuums. The accessories are stored on the machine itself and do not get in the way of the cord or the cleaning of the vacuum.
The cord is longer than other vacuums that I have used and allows me to vacuum several areas of my house without having to stop. However I do have to stop quite often to empty the canister. One pro of the vacuum is that it works great on picking up pet hair and dirt.
I have been able to keep the house clean and looking great. Another pro of the vacuum is that it is easier to maneuver through the house. It is extremely easy to push while cleaning.
One con of the vacuum is that there are several compartments to clean when dumping the contents of the vacuum. There are three places where the vacuum can get clogged. Another con of the vacuum is the chamber is smaller than the other bagless vacuums that I have used. If you have animals you will need to empty the chamber quite often.
