This vacuum has taken technology by the horns and created a vacuum that has excellent cleaning ability and is equipped with Microban Antimicrobial Product protection. As it is cleaning it is also purifying the air indoors with its hepa filter cartridge.

You can actually the the dust being sucked up into it’s powerful canister which is bagless. It also sports a nice headlight for the darker areas of a room. It has a large hose that is kink free and the telescoping extension wand reaches into those hard to reach areas as well as the narrow crevice tool. The turbo brush on this model is used for small areas such as stairs and upholstery. It also comes with a conbination brush that is used for dusting. The Bissell HEalthy Home Vacuum comes with a lifetime belt. It has a large 15″ wide path with large wheels. It also has 7 height adjustments taking you from bare floors to thick carpeting.

The pros of this vacuum are that the sucking ability is second to none. You can see the unseen being pulled into this powerful machine. I really feel my carpet is cleaner than it has ever been compared to conventional vacuums that I have owned in the past.

The long hose that it sports makes it easy to walk a distance away from the unit itself without pulling the vacuum over. It is also a ‘green machine’ in the fact that it is bagless and has an easy release on its canister. With a hepa filter, it catches most allergens and dust.

The cons on this vacuum is that it is a little heavy, weighing in at 12 pounds. It is also somewhat cumbersome in that it does have a wide path and big wheels making it awkward to get into small places. This model should have had some type of propulsion to it.

SUCTION: The suction is great on this vacuum. I don’t think it could be any better.
WEIGHT: 12Pounds
ACCESSORIES: Turbo Brush, Combination Brush for dog hair and dusting, Crevice Tool for those hard to reach places.
PRICE: $199.99-$230.00

Pros
- Picks up dirt and pet hair on floor and with attachments like magic.
- Easy and mess free emptying.

Cons
- Very heavy, you’ll get a workout from pushing it around (but worth it)
- Vacuum hose could be longer.

Bissell 5770 Healthy Home Bagless Upright Vacuum I purchased my vacuum at Sam’s Club on a whim. My husband and I have to long haired cats at home and I’m constantly battling with cat hair everywhere. We’re very conscious about allergens and such, so when I saw this vacuum cleaner I thought it would do the trick. It was a splurge at around $250.00, but it just looked like it would work great.

It has a wonderful rotating brush attachment that makes our couch look brand new, not a single cat hair is left. My favorite part of the vacuum is the waste canister. That sounds silly, I know, but it’s so easy to empty! I just push a button to detach it from the vacuum, hold it over the trash can and push another button that opens the bottom and lets all the hair and dust fall into the garbage.

My previous vacuum had a pull out bucket type thing that was like a giant cup and all the junk from the filter would fall down once you took out the cup thing and make a mess. This one has the filter and all built into the canister that you detach, so it stays super clean. It filters the air well and has other great attachments.

One nice thing is once the canister is full the brush will just turn off. We learned this the hard way and thought something was wrong, but apparently there’s a censor that keeps you from overfilling the canister. We emptied it out and it started right back up. Great product!

Pros
- The on board attachments are great, it makes doing corners and behind furniture easy.
- It’s also easy to take up and down stairs, there is a nice handle and it’s not very heavy.

Cons
- Emptying the canister. It’s very messy and you often have to reach up inside the unit to remove stuck clumps.
- It’s also very large and does not fit under tables very well.

Bissell Healthy Home vacuum cleaner. I bought this for pet hair. It does a fairly good job, however it doesn’t pick you pet hair very well from my berber carpet. On plush carpet it works great. It’s very easy to take apart if you need to clean out clogs.

It has a very sturdy belt, I’ve never had to have it replaced. It has a HEPA filter, but I cannot honestly say if it does or does not do any good. It’s rarely dirty and to clean it all you have to do is remove the filter and shake it out or wash it in the sink.

The on board brush attachment is awesome for stairs as well as furniture, and it does a great job on the pet hair on the couch. It is quite loud to use, and it does not get very close to furniture because of it’s bulky head, but that’s where the handy on board attachments come in.

My next vacuum will be a bagged vacuum. The mess I make when I empty this canister (dirt flying all over ) is not worth the convenience and cost savings of a bagless.
