I own a Bissell Power Force 12 Amp upright vacuum cleaner and have used it over the last year. The vacuum, when new, had all the pick up power that you could ask for and did a great job. The extender wand when used had great suction and would pick up anything it came into conatct with.

Over the months and extensive use of the extender wand the vacuum seemed to lose suction power when being used without the extender wand as an upright vacuum only. It consistently left items behing that it once picked up and I had to use the extender wand to get those items.

The Five height control is kind of flimsy and you really can tell what height you have as it is not marked to guide you. When adjusting height it seems that all you accomplish is that it gets harder to push around as you go lower. The low grade plastic they used in its construction makes the vacuum feel like a cheap piece of equipment. The bags are fairly easy to replace and hold enough to get you by for a while. The filters are removable and washable so this will savfe you some money if you choose to purchase this unit.

The cord extends far enough to complete a good sized room without changing outlets, but doesn’t retract and has to be wound around a side mounted system which sometimes is awkward. I bought the vacuum because of the price but have learned my lesson that chespest isn’t always better. I wouldn’t recommend this vacuum to anyone.
